first warmup race 13.1 mile half marathon 10/29/06

it was a great day to be running on sunday the 29th ........7 am and 2hrs 11 minutes later i was sprinting to the finish line............very pleased with the run i was finishing.........i felt great and seem to be gleaming with joy about seeing the finish line and the clock ticking at 2 hours and 11 minutes it was the fastest time i had run this distance ......and it was a 10.o3 minute pace per mile.........i was a little sore this morning but spent the day walking around the zoo and japanese garden with a friend..........it was a great day to reflect and i can only hope that the next two warmup races will be as rewarding ...........nov 19 is the 25 k and dec 10 is the 30 k.....18.3 miler..................leading to the big day january 14th ....26.2 .......................................................
